It is through our own human addiction that we take part in activities that make us feel something different than we're used to. By positioning ourselves within the comfort of discomfort and the repetition of change, whether it's designed or coincidence, we find the experiences that remind us of the reasons why we're here. This is an exploration into the mental phenomena of the human experience. Please explore the ARCHIVES at the bottom of this page. kclickenger@c-jr.com

Vintage days 2009

Whew, who's a slacker on blog posting?? I am!

Another year goes by, and another Mid Ohio Vintage motorcycle days!

It was a great time as always.. I'll try to post a gallery of more photos, but here's a few tidbits to occupy your time..

The XR made it's debut at Vintage via the back of my jeep.. no way I'm slabbing 350 miles on that seat!

This is the moped I tried to buy.. I guess I should've given the guy what he wanted for it.. If I only knew..

Tommy on board the infamous SL100.. This was the first time I've seen the SL in person since I gifted it to Marky a couple years ago.. I gave it to him with a seized motor and I'm pretty sure that were some vermin living in it as well... he brought it back to life and did it with style! Check out the video below.. and check out the 20,000 commemorative post from 05/16/09 (below) to see the original state of the SL!

The man behind the SL-madness:
Way to go Marky.
