Revisit

It seems as time keeps passing by I learn more and more, and I guess that seems to be the point of all of this anyway. But it's certainly interesting to pay attention to things and come to some realizations along the way.
More so than every before in my life, the results of the personal decision making process have become clearly evident. But the interesting part of it all is the circumstances of which I have no control; and how even they so clearly unfold into what I know as the truth of reality.
It's been quite a while since I've indulged in a classic dude's-philosophical-moment, and you'd think that considering all of the profound changes over the last few months I would've had plenty to talk about. The truth is, I just didn't care to analyze it, but rather let things unfold as they may and sit back to observe the outcome. It's been interesting.
What is motivating now is the stark contrast with which I've been presented. Adjusting to this day to day life in Cleveland, even if temporary, will surely be a challenge, but the welcoming arms of great friends will certainly lessen the blow.
More than 9 months since I was last here, I've been amazed at the difference in my own ambitions, goals and interests; a complete departure from what I once knew. I left here with a romantic idea of what it was that I wanted from life and learned very quickly the results of pursuing that as reality. Certainly an epic journey with an abundance of lessons learned and experiences had, it did in fact prove that the state of California was never the destination in the first place. It was, in the end, the journey itself which held that title.

So, welcome back to Cleveland, where the beginning of yet another journey will ensue. It's certainly not where I ever thought I would be at this moment in time, but I suppose I'm glad to be here. After all, the events of the last year have led me here in one way or another, and I'm enthralled to find out where these current events will lead in the near future. And if you're wondering what any of this has to do with Motopsychosis, just stay tuned.. whether or not plans work out in the end, it's always fun to make them..there are always MOTOvations.
