mo'to'-si'ko´sis

It is through our own human addiction that we take part in activities that make us feel something different than we're used to. By positioning ourselves within the comfort of discomfort and the repetition of change, whether it's designed or coincidence, we find the experiences that remind us of the reasons why we're here. This is an exploration into the mental phenomena of the human experience. Please explore the ARCHIVES at the bottom of this page. kclickenger@c-jr.com

Dirt Rat V.2

Please extend a warm welcome to the newest addition to the motorcycle addiction that is Motopsychosis.. The TT 350!

As some of you may know, I've been shopping for a little beater dual sport for some time now, but leave it to all my fellow inmates at ADV to come through in the end! I stumbled on an ancient post by this dude Rich, who, as it turns out, still had the bike that he was offering up for sale way back when..  and so, a couple days later, it sits in the shadows of the GS in Matthew's garage!

It's certainly not the prettiest bike in the garage, but it will definitely do some things none of the others will!
It's 350cc of single-cylinder thumper-mayhem!
Single? So what's the other exhaust pipe for? I have no idea!
It was born as a pure-bred dirtbike.. no lights, no signals, no horn, no speedo... nothing. But somewhere along the line someone ripped a harness off of an XT350 and made this thing street legal. Lucky for me ;)
 Time for a ride!
The seat height is a massive 36", but compresses nicely under the weight of my backside..  and it still looks like a toy between my legs!
Matthew's turn...
And, of course, I couldn't let the neighborhood romping finish without stopping by to rub it in Tommy's face a little.. He's got a perfectly good DT250 sharing space with the furnace and pushbrooms in his basement!  But hey, maybe it's nothing a little public embarrassment can't fix.. Have a fun ride, Tommy?
