It is through our own human addiction that we take part in activities that make us feel something different than we're used to. By positioning ourselves within the comfort of discomfort and the repetition of change, whether it's designed or coincidence, we find the experiences that remind us of the reasons why we're here. This is an exploration into the mental phenomena of the human experience. Please explore the ARCHIVES at the bottom of this page. kclickenger@c-jr.com

Well, I still don't have much to report. I'm back in the groove of riding everyday and it certainly feels good. Chicago motorcycle commuting is a bit like playing frogger, but since I'm skinny enough to fit between stopped traffic and parked cars, I've managed to turn a 20 minute, 2.5 mile commute into about 12 minutes. Lane splitting is technically illegal here, but I've learned that when on the road in Chicago, anything goes! Don't get me wrong, I'm riding more cautiously than I think I ever have before, but sometimes you need to be extremely cautious AND aggressive.
I don't think I've seen a posted speed limit anywhere in the city and I've learned that Chicagoans are seemingly addicted to honking their horns. I think even the cops think that if you can get from point A to point B by not stopping and doing 60mph down city streets, more power to ya! Hey, we're just keeping the flow of traffic moving.. The 140db air horn I installed on the GS has proven *not* to be overkill.

Until there's something more interesting to read on Motopsychosis, I'm sure you don't have anything better to do with you time than playing video games, so click the rider below to try out my recommendation...

Ok, ok.. and here's something for you knee-draggin types that don't like to get dirty..
